Daisy has learned how to hug. The picture below is her teddy bear from the "Build-a-Bear Workshop." When she hugs people, she pats them on the back. It's very, very cute.

Old Friends

Last weekend, we went to Oakland and met up with our friends, Jill, Mark, and Lily. We met them when we joined an infertility support group almost two years ago. At the time, Jill had just *just* gotten pregnant and we were just *just* starting treatments. At our first get-together, Jason made the remark that one day we would have a party with our babies. I always wondered if that day would come. Well, it did, and we had a great time. Thank you, Jill and Mark!!

And since either Jason and I are always taking the picture, we thought we'd take advantage of a third party and get a little family shot.


PS: Countdown to Daisy's birthday is T minus 36 days. We're still trying to formulate a plan. It will probably look *something* like this: Saturday... early evening.. nice, casual restaurant... a meal... watch Daisy open a few presents.. and eat a little cake. The particulars of the plan will come together before too long. Stay tuned.
